We dispatch Australia-wide from our warehouse in Keysborough, Victoria. This page explains how long orders take, what freight costs, and what to do if something arrives damaged.
Processing and dispatch
Orders placed before [[CONFIRM: 12:00pm AEST]] on a business day are typically picked and dispatched [[CONFIRM: the same business day]]. Orders placed after that time, on weekends, or on Victorian public holidays are dispatched the next business day.
During peak periods or where an item is on back-order we will contact you with an updated timeframe before charging or shipping.
Delivery timeframes
Estimated transit times once dispatched:
- Melbourne metro — [[CONFIRM: 1–2 business days]]
- Victoria regional — [[CONFIRM: 2–4 business days]]
- Sydney, Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane metro — [[CONFIRM: 2–5 business days]]
- Perth, Darwin, Hobart and regional areas — [[CONFIRM: 5–10 business days]]
These are estimates provided by our carriers, not guarantees. Delivery timeframes are outside our direct control once a consignment leaves our warehouse.
Freight costs
Freight is calculated at checkout based on the weight, volume and destination of your order. [[CONFIRM: is there a free-shipping threshold, and at what order value?]]
Can sealing machines are bulky goods and may attract a separate freight quote, particularly to regional and remote addresses. Where this applies we will contact you before dispatch rather than surprising you with a charge.
Local pickup
[[CONFIRM: is pickup offered from the Keysborough warehouse? If so, state the collection hours, whether an appointment is required, and how customers are notified that an order is ready.]]
Tracking your order
You will receive a confirmation email when your order is placed and a second email with tracking details once it is dispatched. If tracking has not updated within [[CONFIRM: 3 business days]] of dispatch, contact us and we will investigate with the carrier.
Delivery addresses and authority to leave
Please provide a business address where someone can receive goods during business hours. We cannot deliver to PO boxes for bulky items.
If you give the carrier authority to leave, the goods are left at your risk. Cantra is not responsible for parcels that are lost or stolen after being left unattended at your nominated address.
Incorrect address details supplied at checkout may incur a redelivery fee.
Damaged or missing items
Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything has been damaged in transit or is missing, contact us within [[CONFIRM: 48 hours]] of delivery with your order number and photographs of the packaging and the goods.
Keep the original packaging until the issue is resolved — carriers generally require it to assess a damage claim. We will arrange a replacement, repair or refund as appropriate.
Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
International orders
[[CONFIRM: does Cantra ship outside Australia? If yes, state which countries, who is responsible for import duties and GST, and how returns are handled. If no, state that clearly.]]
